SugarCity in tv-programme

Koefnoen, a very succesfull (sarcastic) tv-programme on the Dutch television, has filmed on the site of SugarCity. Broadcast-dates are not yet set, but the new series will start at the 12th of september, 9.30 pm on 'Nederland 1'.

Trainstation Halfweg-Zwanenburg ready at the end of 2011

The new NS-station Halfweg-Zwanenburg is a fact. Ever since mid-December two sprinters will stop at this station each hour. District Noord-Holland, NS, ProRail and the local authorities Haarlemmermeer, Haarlemmerliede and Spaarnwoude have reached an agreement for this purpose.

The station is situated alongside the tracks between the stations Haarlem Spaarnwoude and Amsterdam Sloterdijk. The local authorities Haarlemmerliede and Spaarnwoude contain all the essential provisions in the public space. There will be a combination track in front of pedestrians and cyclists at the area of SugarCity between the bridge that will be built across the Ringvaart and the station. The plaza and a good accessibility from the station will be an important part of that. The community also takes care of a parking area with a capacity of 150 parking-lots. The parking area is situated within a distance of 250 m from the entrance of the station with a direct connection to it.

This means there’s a new website with lots of information about the developments, the spaces used for business purposes and other useful facts and knowledge. Minister Cramer visits the stall of Sugarcity during the Provada

On the third day of the real estate market Provada in Amsterdam minister Jacqueline Cramer visited the stall of Sugarcity; the redevelopment of the former CSM territory in Halfweg. The minister was very interested in the development of the former industrial complex.

The reuse of existing employment zones is high on the political agenda of the minister. Especially if these areas, as in case of Sugarcity, have high culture-historical values which will remain during the development.

Second successful day at the Provada

The Provada passed off very good. This is a picture of the combined Sugarcity / Cobraspen / Htel Serviced Appartments stall during the Provada at RAI Amsterdam.

Cobraspen will be here prominent during the 5^th Provada at the 16^th, 17^th and 18^th of June. Theme of the Cobraspen-stall is SugarCity. Of course the 110.000 m2 that will be realised with reference to work, shop, leisure and recreation is now only in our imagination.

The Provada is the most important real estate market in the Netherlands which takes place every year at RAI Amsterdam. This is the meeting place for everybody in the branch, from government officers to renters and from contractors to institutional investment funds.
